Lights out on dark days in Gaza

Gaza's main power plant began shutting down yesterday, due to a fuel shortage caused by Israel's closure of the Hamas-controlled territory's borders – a move reportedly taken in response to Palestinian rocket attacks.
Israel has responded to the attacks with air strikes and ground incursions which have killed 39 Palestinians.

Gaza Strip in blackness as Israel continues full blockade

Sewage and water systems in the troubled Gaza Strip are on the verge of collapse and hospitals are closing their doors to patients, aid agencies said Sunday night as an Israeli blockade of humanitarian aid wore into its third day.

Never mind "dark days in Gaza". It's a dark day in The Scotsman when anti-Semitic slogans and anti-Semitic websites are permitted by Mr McBain, the editor, without action, as in comment #3.

@4 in what way was #3 yawn..anti-semitic he quoted a VERY evil man being very candid about the amount evil he was prepared to use (far from moral) to maintain the theft of palestine .....that you find that theft justified is for you to ponder #3 was merely pointing it out to you....what the VERY evil man is quoted as saying .......run along now no anti- thingamy here

Ya just have to luv where these nutters pick up their information. If they had brains they would be dangerous!

BTW Ever noticed how,during this so-called fuel shortage, all these 4x4 mobile rocket launchers still manage to get around?
