CITY leaders have been offered the internet site of Edinburgh’s new advertising slogan "Inspiring Capital" in return for a donation to a city hospital.
Last month, the agency behind the new "brand" was left red-faced after an aggrieved resident bought the internet domain name InspiringCapital.com weeks before the scheme was launched - and used it for a website of "uninspiring" stories about Edinburgh Council.

The site’s owner, known only as The Basa, has promised to hand over the domain in return for a £8800 donation to the Patients Fund at Findlay House.
