Sarah Palin has told a Canadian comedian posing as French president Nicolas Sarkozy during a prank call that "maybe in eight years" she will be president.
The Republican vice-presidential nominee discusses politics, the perils of hunting with vice-president Dick Cheney and Sarkozy's "beautiful wife" in the phone call released yesterday and set to air tomorrow on a Quebec radio station. On being told of the prank, a spokeswoman for Palin said: "C'est la vie."

I don't think this is embarrassing. I think it is funny in a ho hum kind of way. By the way, I don't have any idea how the conversation sounded on the Palin earpiece--it no doubt, was difficult to hear some of that stupid Faux French. I would also like to know who it was that got a hold of the phone number to the nearby staff of Palin?? Smacks of a lot of preparation for such a poor stunt. I was not laughing--and I have a great sense of humor to laugh at any candidate's blunders.

I guess gullibility (as displayed by the followers of Obama with his socialist and social engineering proposals) is not limited to the Democrats. They had her for a while but then she kept it going--you can hear her obvious snickering. But, no doubt it was considered a victory for these "comedians." I would have at least tried to be funny.

Several of the regular evangelical/conservative American ladies on this board over the last couple of months referred to themselves as "Trailer Trash," in solidarity with Sara Palin's persona and viewpoints.

Does anyone remember, specifically, who they were ?
