Iran: More than two dozen Iranian journalists are among the hundreds of people being imprisoned in Tehran as part of the violent post-election crackdown, claims Amnesty International.
As many as 30 journalists remain in detention, according to the human rights group, which called the arrested reporters "prisoners of conscience".

Mexico: Authorities say a US man who had about four million images of child pornography in his possession has been arrested in the city of Tijuana.
