HOMELESSNESS campaigners were today due to present Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon with two guitar cases stuffed with postcards.
Shelter has gathered more than 4000 postcards as part of its Hometime Scotland campaign to ensure the Scottish Government delivers on its target of ending homelessness by 2012.

The campaign asked people to name the song which reminds them of home. Today Shelter revealed the number one choice was The Proclaimers' foot stomping "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)".

Shelter director Graeme Brown said: "Our next hurdle is the 2009-10 budget. We need to see increased cash for housing through that budget to ensure housing for all. "
