TREATMENT and early diagnosis of dementia could be improved through a £1 million investment to be announced today by the Scottish Government.
The money will go towards a Dementia Clinical Research Network, bringing together leading academics and clinicians.
The network, to be built around four research hubs in Glasgow, Grampian, Lothian and Tayside, is intended to translate scientific discoveries into safe and effective treatments.
