HEALTH workers at an NHS Lothian office have been recognised for their commitment to healthy eating.
The 250 staff at Deaconess House on the Pleasance were given the Healthy Working Lives Gold Award.

It comes as St John's Hospital in Livingston was given similar praise for making fruit widely available.

Alan Boyter, NHS Lothian's director of human resources and organisational development, said: "We were delighted to support the efforts of our staff to lead healthier lives, and this gold award is a fantastic recognition of the hard work done by staff."
