CHILDMINDERS in the Capital are being urged to pick up a new guide aimed at promoting food safety.
The Food Standards Agency Scotland is behind an information pack aimed at preventing the potential for prosecutions under health and safety laws.

Since 2006, childminders have had to comply with food hygiene legislation. The pack was developed with Scottish Childminding Association and the Care Commission to provide childminders with a single source of information to help them understand their responsibilities.
