Fibre 'lessens risk of pre-eclampsia'

PREGNANT women who increase their fibre intake by 5g a day may reduce the risk of developing the potentially fatal condition pre-eclampsia by about 14 per cent,
researchers at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle claimed yesterday.
