A FATHER of two has sparked a nationwide police hunt after vanishing with his 15-year-old neighbour, it emerged yesterday.
Jack Saxton, 22, and schoolgirl Alyx Leighton, who celebrated her 15th birthday two weeks ago, disappeared together last Friday.

It is believed they may have fled to Scotland after she printed out a travel plan to Glasgow and searched for B&Bs there online. Police are tracing Mr Saxton's car, a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec Y199 HEV, and appealing to anyone who may have seen Alyx.

Her mother Vicky Forse, 34, who lives less than 100 yards from Mr Saxton in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, said: "

She's mature in her looks but not in her behaviour and I am very worried."

Painter and decorator Mr Saxton had arranged to pick up his sons Nicholas, two, and Dylan, 18 months, from nursery the same afternoon but did not show up. He sent fiancée Helen Channelle a text reading "sorry" and has not turned his phone on since.

A police spokesman said: "We are concerned about this girl's disappearance because she is under-age."
