DOCTORS and other health workers are set to protest outside the Faslane naval base in opposition to the government's plans to replace the Trident nuclear missile programme.
A group of about 30 health professionals will gather at the Clyde base on Thursday and Friday, saying it is "illegal, immoral and unethical" to possess such weapons.

The doctors, led by Dr Lesley Morrison from the Borders, are prepared to face arrest if police attempt to clear the blockade. Dr Morrison said: "The prevention of nuclear war and the proliferation of nuclear weapons should be a matter of concern to all health professionals."

A greater "matter of concern" to these medics, should be the cancelled appointments that have enevitably occured because of this action. We have Sheridan and asscociated peasent parties to do our shouting and bawling. Get back to what your paid for.
We are prepared to face arrest they trill, good and I hope it's via a police dog's jaws. Stich that.

Billy: how do you know appointments have "enevitably" [sic] been cancelled? Doctors are allowed time off, just like anyone else, and if they choose to spend this time blockading then that's up to them. If you have any further information on this then I wait to be corrected.

I hope that these are not nationalist medics because if they are they will incur the wrath of Duncandisorderly MacNeil, the MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde, the biggest loudmouth at Holyrood and the most vocal supporter of Bliar and Bomber Brown.
If they are not nationalists that will be ok then! After all, he used to be against the bomb when he was a socialist.

Whats has the replacement for Trident got to do with health workers. have they nothing better to do with there time.
Trident and whatever replaces it is a powerfull deterant that protects the UK . What with more and more "dodgy" coutries developing nuclear weapons, we need them more now that ever.
