AN Edinburgh nurse is to join a group of health workers protesting against the Government's plan to replace the Trident nuclear submarines.
Sheena Holden, a nurse and complementary therapist, will join other nurses and doctors at a protest at the Faslane naval base tomorrow.

She said: "When, in the mid-eighties, nurses and health professionals campaigned against nuclear weapons, our message was beds not bombs. Sadly, the bombs are still with us and the Government wants to replace Trident. Our message is the same."

i think this whole thing at faslane is so set up and organised, that
we can see this is no longer the average joe turning up cause he believes in it, but is being organised by people like cnd who have a vested interest in keeping it going .
most people in scotland would be happy with the let up in their taxes if we didnt have to spend so much in policing the place
