BRITISH National Party leader Nick Griffin was today facing being effectively barred from attending a Buckingham Palace garden party.
The right wing politician had been invited to the social event by BNP colleague Richard Barnbrook, who, as a London Assembly member, was nominated for two tickets by the Greater London Authority.

Democracy is a great thing, shame we no longer have it in this country,I wonder how many crooked politicians will be invited.I may not agree with what Nick Griffin says but I'll defend to the death his right to say it. Brown and co. are completely to blame for the rise of fringe parties with their incompetent and elitist policies, nobody speaks for the working class anymore.

... sorry Toast, there isn't a working class any more - with the loss of the traditional industries, people who were "working class" either moved on - or became generations of sickness benefit recipients.

A gross exaggeration, I know, but not that much of the population is now engaged in manual / unskilled work.

... and tradesmen earn more than I do! They don't do "jobbing" any more - they are builders and property developers, kitchen and bathroom designers and environmental consultants!
