Archbishop denies schools 'bias'

THE Archbishop of Canterbury has rejected claims that church schools were cherry-picking bright and wealthy pupils.
Dr Rowan Williams said Church of England schools provided an education to a diversity of backgrounds. "Church schools are the main educational presence in some of our most deprived communities," he said.
