Oxford author's degree pleasure

CHILDREN'S author Philip Pullman yesterday that he was "immensely gratified" to be awarded an honorary degree by Oxford University.
The writer of the His Dark Materials trilogy, set in a parallel version of Oxford, had the honour bestowed upon him at the Sheldonian Theatre.
