APPRENTICE hopeful Lucinda Ledgerwood survived another tough episode in the TV series last night.
The Leith Links resident clashed with team leader Helene Speight over her ability to process photographs in the show's latest task.
The 31-year-old risk manager told her team leader she was not good at using technology when she was assigned the role.
But she was spared the chance of getting fired by Sir Alan Sugar when the other team lost the task by failing to make a profit, and team leader Simon Smith became the latest candidate to be kicked off.
The former Army surveyor admitted he cringed to see himself resemble Ricky Gervais's clueless and embarrassing regional manager in hit show The Office.
He said: "I'm a good team worker, but I wasn't a good manager. I resemble David Brent at certain times in that last episode.
"I wanted to throw my fist into the TV at the bit where I'm lying on the sofa demonstrating how I want my customers to look. I was aware when I did it I'd provided them with a classic moment."
After being fired by Sir Alan, the 36-year-old was given a job back with his former employer, rolling out new technology for the National Lottery.
