Three treated as cars collide

POLICE attended a two-car accident on the A71 outside Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club on Friday afternoon.
The collision took place just after 3pm. Three people were treated for minor injuries, two of which were elderly and taken to St John's Hospital in Livingston as a precautionary measure.

The A71 was closed between Wilkieston and Addiston Bridge as a result, and traffic diverted.

And a two-car accident happened on Calder Road the same night at 7.50pm.

No-one was injured in the collision.
