DRAMA students staged a protest outside the Scottish Parliament today.
It follows the decision by Queen Margaret University to axe the hands-on conservatoire courses in acting and theatre production.

The students believe the university will fail to attract the same calibre and number of actors as it is no longer accredited by the National Council for Drama Training.

Student Bill Addison, 27, said: "People aren't going to come to QMU."
