A CITY college is offering a number of last-minute places on its technical theatre courses.
The one-year courses at Edinburgh's Telford College teach students a range of skills in sound, lighting, stage management and set construction.

Paul Diamond, co-founder of Diamond Event Services, one of Scotland's top crew companies, said: "We employ graduates from Telford because they come equipped with an excellent foundation in the live events industry.

As a result, they stand out at interview."

Andrew Webster, 20, who has just completed an HNC in Technical Theatre and Production, added:

"A lot of the crew I work with have also qualified from the Technical Theatre courses."
