SQA appoints new chairman

EDUCATION Secretary Fiona Hyslop has announced the new chairman of the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
Graham Houston, managing director of Craigton Coaching and Consultancy, has more than 20 years' experience in management development and executive coaching, and is also leader of Stirling Council. He will take up the four-year post from February 1.

Ms Hyslop said: "The wealth of experience he brings will ensure the SQA is ready to meet the future challenges it faces."
