PUPILS at a Leith primary school are to receive a free breakfast for a whole year.
John Lewis will provide food for Lorne Primary School’s 60 pupils at its breakfast club.

The idea is to provide children with a healthy meal before they start their lessons.

All food for the scheme will be provided by Waitrose, the supermarket chain owned by the John Lewis Partnership.

Why don't they go the whole hog and give them all free bed and board, clothes, baths/showers etc. Then they won't need looking after/cared for at home!!

PS For obvious reasons, forget the bath/shower bit - they'd better go home to wash!!
