Pupil bags slot in the final of design competition

TALENTED pupil Zhanna Meek has been selected to be a finalist in a design contest in aid of The Prince's Trust Scotland.
Zhanna from Whitburn Academy is one of three finalists in the competition to design goodie-bags for the Capgemini Black and White Ball, to raise vital funds for some of the country's most disadvantaged young people. The event is being staged on August 15 at the Sheraton in Edinburgh.

Zhanna has been invited to the ball as a VIP guest and a celebrity ambassador will reveal the overall winner on the night.
