A MIGRANT rights and information day is set to take place in the Capital next month.
The event has been organised by the city council and Positive Action in Housing.

A range of people will be on hand to offer help and advice on employment, housing, healthcare, education and welfare benefits.

Interpreters will be available throughout the event on October 3 in the Assembly Rooms on George Street from 10am to 6pm.

Can this country really afford to keep giving welfare benefits to migrants?

I only ask, given that according to the Daily Express, David Blunkett says our elderly will have to work until they are well into their 70s as there is no money around. I would be upset if my folks, who paid into this country all their lives, were forced to work into their 70s, whilst migrants get benefits almost immediately.

Migrants should have 'human rights' and that is all.
