A DEPUTY rector who has worked at a top city school for more than three decades is set to retire this year.
David Standley will leave Edinburgh Academy in the summer, at the end of the academic year.

Rector Marco Longmore, who joined the school last year, said: "I will say a great deal more later in the year to give due thanks for over three decades of service to the school, but I would like at this point of time to thank David for his unstinting support."
