THE star of a hugely popular children's science show is to appear at this year's Edinburgh International Science Festival.
Scottish actress Katrina Bryan, who plays Nina in the CBeebies series Nina and the Neurons, will be visiting the City Arts Centre.

She will also be meeting her young fans, signing autographs and enjoying some of the activities. The City Arts Centre is being used by the Science Festival for the first time this year, with a brand new activity area where families can create their own inventions, including those featured in the new series Nina and the Neurons Go Inventing.

Young visitors can build spinning tops, an invisible wave bowling game, noise makers or a mattress.

Ms Bryan will be appearing at the festival on Monday, between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
