A FLASHER is being hunted by police after he exposed himself to a woman jogging beside the Water of Leith.
The 33-year-old victim was left "extremely alarmed and concerned" following the incident which happened at around 12.50pm on Wednesday on the walkway at Colinton Dell.

The woman was jogging west along the Water of Leith, just off the disused railway tunnel on the pathway, when she became aware of a man cycling towards her.

The man, who had a local accent, passed her twice and asked for the time before continuing to cycle west where he was lost to sight.

The woman continued jogging and moments later saw the man exposing himself to her a short distance away.

The victim fled the scene and contacted police.

The suspect is white, 18 to 20-years-old, 5ft 6ins tall, with a thin to medium build and a young fresh pale complexion. He was wearing a white shellsuit jacket, with a faint black and white check pattern, black tracksuit trousers and a woollen beanie hat.
