FIVE people were taken to hospital after high winds blew over stalls at an Italian market.
Four of them were trapped under the six aluminium frame gazebos which overturned in the Capital at around 1pm yesterday (SAT), Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue said.

They were helped out before emergency services arrived and those hurt were treated at the scene by paramedics.

The five were then taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary suffering minor injuries, the Scottish Ambulance Service said.

The incident happened at the market in Castle Street. Lothian and Borders Police were also called to the scene.
