Repair hotline hits the road

RESIDENTS can call a new telephone number to report potholes, broken streetlights and other roads and lighting problems.
East Lothian Council is urging people to call 01875-824 305 to report any faults.

yep always the way not free but at least its not an 0870 number!Hopefully its separate from C.L.A.R.E.N.C.E. and will get dealt with quicker!

Will it make any difference? Been waiting over a year for street light on Ormiston Road Tranent to be fixed despite repeated reports to council and councillor. The reply is always that it is the responisbility of Scottish Power. Being the only one directly affected by no light from this pole no one seems to care.

The line may be up and running but the repairs are not!! the B6371 is still full of pot holes!!already reported 3-4 times...i think they plugged two up but missed the rest

street lighting is the councils area, if you get the number of the lamp standard and report it to East lothian council!
