MORE than four million Britons will have diabetes by 2025, mostly fuelled by the obesity crisis, figures showed yesterday. Unhealthy diets and a lack of exercise will lead to a "diabetes explosion", according to the charity Diabetes UK.
New figures suggest that by 2025 there will be
4.2 million people with diabetes in the UK – a rise of 46 per cent (or 1.3 million people) on current figures.
