Cut meat, Sir Paul urges

SIR Paul McCartney and his family launched a campaign today urging people to go veggie once a week to help combat climate change.
The ex-Beatle and his daughters, Stella and Mary,

backed the Meat Free Monday campaign, which aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions from livestock.

Oh for christs sake Paul! You are a brilliant musician and song-writer. Please stick to that and don't involve yourself in these daft, trendy King Canute politics.

It seems that almost everything can be angled so that "climate change" is affected by it. It is not. The earth's climate IS changing but it is nothing whatsoever to do with people eating sausages and chips for supper.

Good on Paul McCartney...although they might have padded this article out a bit more and explained, in detail, why he is asking people cut down on the amount of meat that they eat....

I often find that meat tastes better when it's cut. But Paul, please do not try to stray on to Prince Charles territory and end up being veggie, eco-bam.

Who funds the Meat Free Monday campaign and what was Paul, Stella and Mary's share? Follow the money...
