BRITAIN'S channel Five station will come under the full control of RTL, Europe's biggest broadcaster, after publishing group United Business Media agreed to sell its share in the station for £247.6 million.
RTL said it would buy UBM's 35.4 per cent stake in a deal that had been expected for months, as the British media group - which recently sold Exchange & Mart - sells off assets outside its core publishing business.
