Egyptian girl, two, contracts bird flu

AN EGYPTIAN child aged two, has contracted the bird flu virus, bringing the number of cases in the country to 60, a World Health Organisation spokesman said yesterday.
The girl, from the southern province of Qena, was taken to a hospital after showing symptoms of fever on Monday.
