Anti-aircraft 'war games' for Iran

IRAN'S armed forces will begin three days of "war games" involving anti-aircraft systems today, amid rising speculation about a US or Israeli strike on its nuclear facilities, which the West and Israel say are part of a clandestine attempt to build atomic bombs, despite Tehran's denials.
It emerged yesterday that Iran's 2009 presidential election will be on 12 June. Conservative Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to stand for a second term, despite criticism over his economic policies.
