'Death camp guard' is fit to be tried

ACCUSED Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk, 89, has been deemed medically fit by to stand trial for helping to kill 29,000 Jews in the Second World War, the state prosecutor's office in Munich said.
Deported to Germany from the US, he has been held in a jail near Munich since 12 May.
